To explain knowledge of God

He said WHEN the Jews turn to the Lord, the veil over their minds is lifted.

Drich explained the biblical sequence of seeking/finding more than once.
How is it that you guys don't see it?
The same veil found it's way here?

Perhaps you should be inspired by our example of how easily it is to see that it is not there, and stop listening to the only 2 pieces of idiocy more idiotic then you, Drich and the bible.

what is the difference between baking a cake and a loaf of bread? The ingredience are basically the same, flour, milk eggs, butter, baking soda etc.. so why when following the directions of bread, do I not come out with cake?

Does this example begg the question in your opinion? If it does then maybe you should look up the term you are misusing, before I get the pleasure of doing it for you.Cool Shades

It is indeed begging the question, to wit: you're citing the Bible's recipe to find god, when it is the veracity of that evil book that is in question. Also, if you have to believe in god in order to see him, then you're requiring presupposition.

So your god isn't even smart enough to figure out that he'd get more followers if he actually showed up every so often ... why should I worship a dingbat like that?

It looks like Adam, Eve, Moses, Noah, and a host of others didn't get that memo.

FAF,
I asked my wife your question about the veil. She said," look it up".
I did. Very good question, chiefly:
The god of this world has blinded their eyes because they were stuck on their own righteousness.

Simon,
Didn't Drich say there were occasional exceptions to seeking.
Really, ALL of us would rather get woke up via a Damascus Road experience.
Notice though, when Paul was struck, he didn't rail against the light, but asked,
Who are you Lord?
I wonder if some would not react in humility?

Weird but "humility" is not a word that leaps to mind when I think of Paul. Do you mean the humility he displayed when he openly disputed the teachings of those who supposedly actually knew Jesus? Or the humility he displayed in trashing his people's sacred, God-given laws? That kind of humility? Yeah, I could probably muster at least that. Angel

I wonder what Christianity would look like without Paulos

Read the epistle attributed to James. I suspect that's about as close as we can get.

But then, it never would have caught on with the Gentiles and would have faded pretty quickly.

Much more credible is to protect you from knowledge of his nonexistence.

Why not just create us with the ability to withstand "his brilliant countenance"? Why deceive us with a veil?
