Naw that's a T-shirt truism: shit happens.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

But that's the big question. Is there a higher reason for it sticking to the shoe sole?

Could the friend of a friend be lying about that story? Oh, no...impossible! Christians never lie! [/sarcasm]
I don't know why she'd bother lying about it, but I think it's highly probable that she, being so spiritual, attributed the situation to the God she believes in. Maybe she had a feeling in her gut to pull over, saw the wallet, and figured it had been God telling her to do that. Or, perhaps she actually saw something in the road, pulled over, and later convinced herself that it was a miracle from God, because it made her feel more secure in her faith.

No need to consciously lie. Memories can be easily (and innocently) distorted. Decades of research have shown this to be the case.

Why, foreknowledge has nothing to do with free will. When children are warned by their parents and they finial heed that warning and, they come to find out they were spared a terrible accident, is that keeping a child from free will, I think not.

He's telling you that troubles brewing for you.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

And be delayed by the precise amount of time for her to meet her ultimate doom when she walks out in front of a truck the year after next.
It's all in 'the plan'.... when you define 'the plan' to be the configuration of the universe which results in exactly what happens next.

So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat?

Sounds like one of my fucking kids. Grind my teeth just thinking about it. I'm a hair away from muzzling them....and I love em to death.........so maybe god should stop screwing with his seat belt, leave his sisters fries alone, stare at the ground, sit on his hands....and shut his damned mouth?
