Ex-Christian Secular Musicians Out There Playing Christmas Music?

RE: Ex-Christian Secular Musicians Out There Playing Christmas Music?
Funnily enough I'm due to play the piano for a carol night at a church next week. It doesn't tend to be preachathon (I couldn't put up with that) but is rather some light hearted fun before Christmas. I know I'm not the only atheist involved, and it doesn't seem to bother anyone.

Do you have the t-shirt? "Atheists for baby Jesus"
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Hehe Smile No, but that would be funny to have a babyburger on my t-shirt or something. It does feel a little weird, but I felt I'd be a bit of a dick to turn them down just because it has a bit of a religious element.

It's ok - I've been singing with a mixed choir in christmas and advent services for the past years, and even in a monastery on some occasions. It also feels a bit weird to me especially since most everyone else in the choir is quite catholic, but they know I'm atheist, and in this country it's not such a big deal anyways. You can count on it that at least 50% of the people attending the service are just going through the motions as well.

Yeah I bet they are. Religion seems to have all but fizzled in the UK. I rarely hear anyone say anything about it, and have never been challenged on my atheism. I'm just here to support fellow atheists, and to take the fight to the rest of the world.

I was thinking of changing some of the lyrics a bit:
