A few more thoughts:


I have tasked my sister in her genealogy work to PLEASE find out we are illegitimately descended from the English royal family

While I hope the monarchy is someday abolished, I would really first like to have an openly gay, Lesbian or transgendered king or queen or 'other'.

Bless Queen Victoria for not having a fucking clue about Lesbianism actually existing (really !) and deleting references to it in a law she signed

Prince Andrew is WAY hotter than just about any other royal I'm aware of and he just keeps getting better every year.

Um no, I am not an either/or person. I am against this handed down wealth because it a dynasty. I have no problem with inheritance.

Huh? I think England has a smart population as does most of Europe. But as far as needing a Royal family, no nation needs one. Two separate issues.

People have always been fascinated with the rich and/or famous. It's not likely to change without a massive leap in the evolution of human psychology.

Just get rid of cable and avoid shitty news sites. And unfriend anyone who consistently posts about it on FB.
