Also now in a modern age doesn't this mean jesus died for nothing if we were going to gradually get better with our morals and we are to a point for the most part
in the world decent people. so jesus death was in vain and only was for those in that time who had a questionable morality. if jesus/god knew how people were going to get better morally he would not died at all and taken peoples help even the devils help.

If you're going to give thanks to someone who died before you were born for your benefit, thank someone who actually existed and actually gave their life and actually made a difference, to an actual problem, like the people who died in the world wars. Not someone who died so you can be forgiven for being an ancestor of some guy who ate an apple.
I was lost, but I had a map.
Didn't need to be found. Saved myself. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" (December 14, 2014 at 9:23 pm)Beccs Wrote: I was lost, but I had a map. i saved myself the trouble and used GPS.

That's great--kinda like one of those puzzles where you have to count all the over lapping triangles inside one shape. Let's see: God exists. (enabling presup number 1) The forty men traditionally given credit for for writing a part of the Bible actually existed. (40 presups) The forty men traditionally given credit for writing a part of the Bible were holy. (40 more presups) The forty men traditionally given credit for writing a part of the Bible actually wrote the part traditionally assigned to them. (40 more presups) Each of the books is the actual word of god. (66 presups) Each of the books was left to us by god. (Yet another 66 presups). The 66 books were written to draw us into belief in god--oddly enough the books seem to assume that part and go right into the praising, smiting and instructions. (That's another 66 presups) I count 319. And tony, since you're into numerology, I will point out that if you add digits of 319 together you get 13 which is an unlucky number, not that that means anything.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
