My fiancé, friends, a counsellor, family.

I'm lucky that I have a good circle of old friends and very lovely fiancé. Theyve allways been there to support me and I know they will always help if needs be, as I would for them.

I've fought in three war and a few shit-storms they never really heard about in the States. I never found a need to lean on anybody but the troopers with me and a few particularly hot nurses.

Probably because noone else would understand anyway. My grandfather never talked about the war, which would have been the first one.

As most everybody else has said, I have my girlfriend and close family and friends. And there is professional help available, also.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Excluding the parts of the US they believe in suffer do not take your own life god will do it.

True, but I found that talking about made it easier. I stifled a lot for twenty years or so, but then I just decided that if somebody didn't like what I did they could go fuck themselves. Now I say that used to kill people for $247/month, before taxes.
