Against you???

No.. I'm against giving credence to silly imaginations of a flying god man that hates the skin on men's penises, but Other than that..

Are you really a god believer? As in Allah and Jesus and such? What's with the 1?

Somewhere between 6.5 and 7, depending on which god we're talking about.

I mean, the only reason (for me) to concede any kind of doubt is just to be open minded to the unknown, and extreme coincidence. In reality I would think a lot of atheists make all their decisions assuming the probability of a God of any consequence is 0%.

6, I guess. God has given me no reason to believe he exists, therefore if any god actually does exist, I'm lead to believe that he doesn't give a fuck if any of us know or care. So, past that, it really doesn't matter one way or the other.

Six, moving towards seven.

God as we understand it is a concept invented by humans. The origin of these gods can be traced back to their origins. They seem to be used to explain the world that people found themselves in. The evolution of the god concept is also rather interesting, evolving from the consciousness behind natural phenomena to a non physical being that transcends spacetime. It is extremely unlikely that such an entity exists, and in the case of Yahweh he almost certainly does not exist for the same reason bugs bunny and harry potter don't.

50% I guess

I believe in God. I don't think anyone can know either way if he exists. How can you prove it?? To entertain such a question you'd have to think that immaterial and atemporal were things we could study.

When you answer, could you also put down if you're an athiest, christian, etc? Example: "6, athiest"
After gathering enough information I'll explain why I'm curious as to what you all think. Thanks, and God bless! :3

1: strong theist. 100% probability of God
2: very strong possibility, but short of 100%
3: higher than 50% but not very high
4: 50% completely agnostic
5: lower than 50% but not very low
6: very low probability but not 0%
7: strong atheist. 'I know there is no god'-0%

EDIT: apparently a lot of you didn't like the fact I didn't introduce myself first, and the reason why I didn't is because I was in an argument with my brother about atheists and Richard Dawkins book "The GOD Delusion". In his book he says that on this list he's met hardly anyone who would identify as a 7. Even Dawkins himself says he's a 6, leaning towards atheism. The argument ended up being whether or not the majority of atheists would identify as 6, or 7. I believe(d) the majority would say 7. My brother on the other hand said 6. So I was just trying to gather the information as quickly as possible. I couldn't find anything online so I created my own thread. I'll make a post in the introduction section when my phone is charged.

Thanks for all the replies!

I'd say I'm on a 5.6, around 80 percent sure there's no god.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
