I think Islam has some deep mystical teachings that I find attractive, some supplications that I find attractive, and also what it teaches regarding peace but aside from that, it seems very much unattractive.

It depends where they fall on the religious spectrum. Your hardcore conservative Christians definitely believe that the household decisions are to be made by the man and the woman's opinion is secondary, however, there are plenty of more liberal-minded Christians that see the sexes as having equal power in a relationship.
I think the hardcore conservatives where I live (Ottawa, Canada) are very much a minority. I've never met any Christian who believes in this.
