Yeah, if they get time to say, "sorry about that", can't atheists use that time to say, "Ok you do exist. Sorry I used the brain you gave me."

That's really the crux of it. It's enough of a problem for Christians that they have to place responsibility for it on someone else, even though it goes against the way we consider responsibility and liability in every other walk of life. In any other facet of our lives, you are responsible and liable for the work you do. When it comes to god, the work is responsible for itself and god is the 'good guy' for cleaning up someone's else's mess.
And the only explanation is to repeat the claim, because there
is no explanation. It's the equivalent of a battered wife who explains that her bruises are her own fault because she provoked her husband to violence.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

"God? Can you change these rules please? They suck!"
"Certainly not! I can't overrule myself. Unless... I could move part of myself down a bit, around a bit, down a bit more, then up here again!"
"Err.... sure?"
"And then, I can allow myself to change the stupid rules I made!"
"Do what you gotta do, I guess..."

What is stranger is that by claiming that their god needs a blood sacrifice to forgive, Christians are limiting their god's power which contradicts his being omnipotent.

OK
So god wasn't happy with the his creation (fuck up #1) so he sent a flood to destroy everything except...(you know the fairy tale)
God wasn't happy again with his creation (fuck up#2) so he sent himself/son to die to fix all the problems (sin)
God (as foretold in revelation) will be mad at us again (fuck up #3) so he will end the world once again.
My only question is will he restart us again?
