Nah.

Quote:“Do not to your neighbor what you would take ill from him.”

"Jesus" is just regurgitated Greek stuff.

But God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that he who may believe shall have eternal life. You will be held accountable for your sins, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments".

Simple as mud. What is sin? Why is the punishment for sin death? Does it matter what sin, or is it just any sin including cookie theft? Is god bound by the rule "the wages of sin are death"? If so why? If not why would god need to kill anyone innocent to change the rule? And why would punishing an innocent ever under any circumstances wipe away the crime of a guilty party?
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Sin is an imaginary millstone round your neck while life is hard enough.

Also, it's nothing to do with morality.

"God" as depicted doesn't give two shits about your "sins" - all the character cares about is whether or not you believe in it. Rather like a more sadistic Santa, only with a far less credible backstory.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

God is the ultimate, "Do as I say, not as I do" parent.

What a fuckwit.
