No. It should be rewarded with a medal. Primitive assholes.

RE: Free speech
I wonder if just explaining the actual biblical story would be considered humiliation.

Piss Christ, as I recall, was to illustrate what the church had done to the actual meaning of Christ's teachings.

Still think it's blasphemy ?

What does a priest ejecaulating into an 8 year old's rectum say about Christ's teachings ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Love over tongue-lashing or na?[/i]

If a Christian is who he says he is then nothing said would humiliate him, as he himself would already be humble.

Humiliation only works if their is pride before the fall.

So yes we should have the freedom to say whatever we like. Why? To keep people who claim to be christian in check.

Humiliating anyone is something I frown upon. I would not humiliate a theist, but the theistic belief system is a different matter. Theistic beliefs are not above reproach. I will not walk on eggshells for the comfort of a spineless theist who cannot handle his beliefs being attacked.

RE: Free speech
Clearly, something must be done about the discrimination against Christians in the US. I've been reading that it is illegal for them to vote, to hold public office, they can't get the jobs they want, they can't buy a home just any old place, and they can't build houses of worship on every street corner.

But it doesn't stop there. From what I understand, Christian holidays are banned - people caught celebrating Christmas or Easter are being whipped in the public square.

*sigh* Poor, poor Christians. If only they were allowed to do whatever they like. If only people would stop promoting laws designed to prevent marriage or adoption by Christians.

Poor, poor Christians.

You should re-read Proverbs 16:18.

Yea, not that it should be illegal for the artist to say "fuck Jesus" in any case, but the idiots who jumped all over him didn't understand he was not against Christianity like you said, just showing what it had become in his eyes.

In any case for the Pope to suggest taboos after the history of that institution is a joke.
