Those Fox Fucks don't deserve a break like this.

I'm sure they're celebrating now that they're going to have even less accountability.

Seconded.

All in favor?

NO! John Oliver has a pretty great thing going on on HBO!

Had Stewart retired last year I would have been all for Oliver as the new host. His summer sitting in for Stewart proved that he would have been a great next step for the show, but that ship has sailed.

I haven't started watching it, yet... I had a hard time keeping up with TDS and the Colbert Report both that I've been putting off adding TNS to my hulu subscriptions. Don't know what I'm going to do when Colbert takes over for Letterman and I have two hour-long late night shows to watch...

Yeah, John Oliver is doing a great job over there, but I wonder if he'd get paid more and get more viewers if he came back to Comedy Central. And if so, would that be enough to draw him in. I mean, Colbert left what he had for a late night show.

The Nightly Show is good. It doesn't seem like an event like The Colbert Report did, it's very relaxed, but I like the approach. They pick one topic and talk about it for most of the show with a panel of relevant people to the topic.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Not a fan of TNS. I've tried it multiple times, but I don't like the gimmicky "Keepin' it 100" thing, and the fact that he barely has anyone qualified to talk about the topics at hand. It just seems kitschy to me.

John Oliver could come back. The Daily Show is an institution, and to be the full time host is a big deal. HBO is pay service. He'll get WAY more viewers on basic cable.

ETA:
Other maybes:
Sarah Silverman
Olivia Munn
Aasif Mandvi
Joel McHale
Ricky Gervais
Amy Poehler
Amy Schumer
Chris Hardwick

true. HBO is an expensive service to get. The only reason I have access it is is because my parents subscribe and the only reason they subscribe to it is because the package that gets my dad ESPN also gives them HBO.
