Given that a little vacuum cleaner put her in agony and required the fire department to help her, you are really not going to like what this is going to do to you:

And the militaries of various countries, including the U.S., are seriously working on robots to kill people:

Don't concern yourself about the "Geneva Convention" rules mentioned there; the U.S. ignores that whenever it pleases (ever heard of "enhanced interrogation?"—the U.S. hanged enemies after WW2 who did exactly the same things, but that did not stop the U.S. from doing these things recently).

It will come.

Were you born without a sense of humor?

I get pissed off with the self-scan checkouts at the supermarket. "Please place the item in the bagging area." "Unexpected item in bagging area. Remove this item before continuing." Fucking shut up, can't you! I do hate mouthy machines!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Right?!!
I mean what the hell lady? First of all, who the fuck naps on a wood floor?!?
What, do you not own a bed? At the very least, you could hit the couch for a little shut-eye.

Seriously

That's her story and she is sticking to it.

I would never suggest the shapely contoured surface of the Roomba device, and it's gentle, yet incessant vibration coupled with it's non demanding obedience to it's masters every whim may have caused an unfortunate robo-encounter . . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Hey it's natural selection at work. Anybody dumb enough to leave their hair within reach of one of these things

So much for the first law of robotics.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

That robot probably never read Asimov.

Exactly.

Steps for Darwinian Award:
1) Activate robot that, should it decide to attack, can only attack things on or very near to the floor.
2) Lay down on the floor.
3) Get attacked by said robot.

Great
