You are baptized when you are old enough to make the decision, babies aren't able to make that choice. You cant find anywhere, in the Bible requiring babies to be baptized.
They aren't claims, if you would like the scriptures to accompany what I said, I am happy to oblige.

Whether the scripture speaks about baptising infants is also irrelevant. They are being baptised. Half of all Christians are catholics, which means they were most likely baptised as infants.

I want to answer Brakeman's question about why the devil wants to destroy Christianity.
The devil (Satan/ HaSatan- the adversary) intently hates all humanity, seeks to implant lies about God, nature and people.
He hates everything God created, he hates truth.
If one can't rid themselves of an enemy, a secondary way is to subvert the enemy into self-destruction.
Thus, he creates the various false religions and systems of error.
Again, this creature and all who are with him are Man's test.
But all who relentlessly pursues Truth (setting aside personal preferences)- will find it.

You're just preaching. In order for any of your claims to be valid, you need to believe in god in the first place.

What I don't get is, why are you wasting you time talking about a subject you "don't believe in"? no life?

Huggy did you forget this is an Atheist forum? No one dragged you here. You chose to visit not only an atheist forum but you made the decision to come on the part of the forum specifically set up to debate theist. Most atheists have considered the same points you made and discovered they were not convincing.

I want to comment on infant baptism.
Another lie designed to hook people into Catholicism for life.
AFTER believing / repenting/ committing oneself to Christ - baptism is an outward sing of an inward change.
All children go to Heaven.

The only reason we have to believe the devil is evil, and hates humanity, is a book written by the followers of a genocidal narcissist. I take any claims about his enemies with a handful of salt.
Satan has no reason to hate us, aside from the idea that people can read the bible, yet still choose to follow Yahweh and do evil deeds in his name. If Satan has dominion over the world, and secular countries tend to do better than theocratic ones, it seems Satan likes Humans. at least ones that can think for themselves.
The only thing he did was oppose yahweh, and there are some good reasons to do that. He has my sympathies.

Infant baptism is partially a commitment by the parents and godparents to indoctrinate the infant as a Christian (Catholic, Anglican, etc.).
All Christian parents indoctrinate their infants to be Christian even if they lack the ceremony of infant baptism. All Christian parents are guilty of hooking their children into Christian life.
It would be nice if Christian children were raised free from religion until they finish school and can choose for themselves.
