Oh NOES! Talking Animals In Fantasy Stories

Oh NOES! Talking Animals In Fantasy Stories

Just some crazy statements from the article.

Quote: In the U.K. if bats descend on your home, they can stay, and you have to leave! And you paid for the home!

How did things become this radical? Could it be possible that there is a connection between Pooh Bear and animal rights?

and

Quote:Give the children books to read that reflect animal rights philosophies, and by the time the children are grown, they will be believers. Hitler knew this, socialists know this, feminists know this, the enemy knows this, and God knows this. It is very important that we do not give our children conflicting (conflicting with the Bible) books to read; this causes confusion in their minds. We must protect the minds of our children by only giving them books with truth, truths that line up with the Bible on every level, and this includes avoiding talking animals.

Winnie the Pooh will lead your child to become a socialist, Nazi Feminist who kicks people out of their bat infested house.

I think I see the problem.

Oh no! They might discover different points of view and come to question what other people tell them! We must protect their precious little brains from actually being used!

Not only that but there are some talking snakes and asses who read the Bible. They're usually known respectively as priests/ministers and congregations.

Sure, but then there's this:

Ezekial 23:20 (NIV) There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

I wonder how you write "She was a fucking handful!" in Hebrew.

The same site dislikes the children's book, Goodnight Moon

Quote:When the bunny addresses “things” in the same manner as people do such as saying good night to objects, this may lead a child to have a skewed view of the difference between man and the rest of God’s creation. Bringing objects devoid of life to the level of things living is akin to actual idolatry. It prepares the way for a world where things are worshiped and treated as having feeling or thought. It teeters on giving credence to pagan religions of the validity of their gods.

and

Quote:The little bunny does not even mention God.
