RE: Oh NOES! Talking Animals In Fantasy Stories
Quote: It is very important that we do not give our children conflicting (conflicting with the Bible) books to read; this causes confusion in their minds. We must protect the minds of our children by only giving them books with truth, truths that line up with the Bible on every level, and this includes avoiding talking animals.

I think I see the problem.

Oh no! They might discover different points of view and come to question what other people tell them! We must protect their precious little brains from actually being used!

Not only that but there are some talking snakes and asses who read the Bible. They're usually known respectively as priests/ministers and congregations.

Sure, but then there's this:

Ezekial 23:20 (NIV) There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

I wonder how you write "She was a fucking handful!" in Hebrew.
