Awesome! I'm off the hook!
(Oh how interesting - the post editor show you the GIF in the editor itself... that's distracting)
(Hey, it does it with the smileys too!)

I have way way back burner plans to hike the entire Appalachian Trail because of that book. I hear they are making a movie of it. He infuses the right amount of funny and storytelling and interesting facts to make fantastic books.
I really enjoy his writing style. I haven't read A Walk in the Woods but I've read Mother Tongue which is a really witty look at the English language, spelling, pronunciation, idioms, swear words, etc. I've wanted to read his book on Shakespeare for a long time but I just haven't gotten around to it, and I just went to Powells so my purchased-book queue just grew.
(Hmm... the editor doesn't preview static smileys)
Oh, and sorry about the not at all thought through answer to the "What's on your DVR" question. I really do have better reasons than those for why I like short-season cable dramas. That's just the kind of answer you get from me when I only do one take and don't at least think through what I might say - or am overcome by the whim to explain something I didn't expect to talk about.
(oh, hey! If you type the code in for the smiley it doesn't preview, but if you add it from the smiley menu it makes them all appear!)

Yeah, that's what usually happens with my cats. They swarm me whenever I'm in my office - one (Riley) will lay in my lap and squirm and the other (Rudy) will parade in front of the screen so I can't see anything.
