Maybe one of the other punters will step up. It's really not a taxing question is it?

I don't know about that. Something tells me he's gone for good. Just speculating.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue
Meh. Just like god - when I see it I "might" believe it.

I don't think he would be able to keep away. At least one good thing came out if it, the minor protection formal policy is really good. I don't believe that it was anything other than a story to cover his massive faux pas, but he got his wish anyhow.

I'm not a theist but I can report on what happened when I rejected Christianity. I not only didn't stop being a moral person, I am probably more moral today than I ever was as a Christian because I can recognize where my morality actually comes from instead of believing that it's all recorded in an idiotic book. Anyone who is only being "moral" because they believe in an imaginary man in the sky has severe mental issues.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide mankind that cannot be achieved as well or better through secular means.

So my question to theists is if you suddenly lost belief in your religion, how likely would it be that you would radically alter your behaviour towards others? Sometimes the changes are not radical. Slow corrosion is more likely. Been there. Done that. Don't want to go back. Two weeks for being obnoxious and not respecting the rules doesn't seem like a bad case of the ban hammer. And if you looked at the date of the thread, you'd know someone has seriously necroed it. |
