there should be a ban on vegetables. And his followers would be stupid enough to listen to him.

Many rational atheists and non-Catholics listen to his liberal words.

And that matters because...?

Again, what is the Pope doing to bring about the peace he claims he wants?

He could issue ball gags for the children to muffle their screams.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

That's terrible but i wouldn't put it past them since this is the vatican of all places.
Them harboring nubile slave boys and such.

Funny enough i learned the word nubile from cards against humanity.

You have to admire their cunning deve's abusing the deaf children in Wisconsin. Especially after finding out which ones have parents that didn't learn sign language.

That is horrible and deeply saddening. This is why church and religion of all things is adult its not for kids. Stop making Disney clones of bible passages.
None of it is good especially the parts with a guy about to kill his kid, the flood, i think one did sodom and gommorah... i think because its been awhile.
Actually yeah one did.

In the end, really not much concretely. Excommunication doesn't have the same sting as it used to, but if enough people listen and learn from him and the Dali Lama, then maybe humanity may move forward just a bit.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

religious figures hold no true power in the first world anymore. They only really have power in the third world.
First world people statistically do not even need god anymore because were all better off than the third world.

Just go to your nation's capital to see how shitty your country actually is.....I'd rather be in Haiti than half of that city.

I'm sure all those Catholic Iraqis will head his call and the rest of people will cease to give a shit. I can call for peace in Iraq too. It's easy to call for peace. How about he uses some of the resources of the Catholic church to actually do something.

That might not go over too well considering the impact of the Catholic Church historically in the Middle East.
