OP, you do realize there are 39,000 sects of Christianity? At least 20 different followings of Judaism? More than 20 in Islam? All Abrahamic religions... but what about those who are non-denominational? Those who say they have the "correct" interpretation of the Bible or other holy book number pretty much all of those people involved in all of those different sects?
In other words: why are you right, and they're all wrong? Why are you the special snowflake?

Anytime someone uses the difference in language to explain a particular interpretation of a Bible passage, I am reminded that according to that same Bible, it was god who confused man's languages and is therefore directly responsible for the diversity of language in the world. That means that any confusion over the wording of any passage or text is god's fault; he could've made it so that languages were perfectly consistent with one another to avoid any such misunderstanding or misinterpretation. But he didn't. He also could've "inspired" the writers to write more clearly and with more detail, but he didn't. It's almost as if he wanted the Bible to be an indecipherable mess so that he could watch humanity stumble over itself trying to make sense of it. Or if, you know... he didn't exist and it was just a bunch of stories written by ordinary people inspired by nothing more than their imaginations.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

He could have inspired a new language that everyone immediately always understood, and which couldn't be altered once written.
If he's omnipotent of course. Sock boy here was playing the nomni angle, which is more defensible, I'll give him that.
