I know it's only a temporary solution but the meantime, I intend to become a European...

That is a better plan than trying to move to Mars.  You will just have to cross the channel, but I think they have several means for doing that already developed, unlike the trip to Mars.  I understand France is a nice place to visit, with plenty of good wine.  They also have some really nice olives, called "Lucques."  I don't think you would find many olives or much wine on Mars, which means that it is a godforsaken place not worth visiting.  This is all starting to make me hungry and thirsty....

Haha. Oh dear, no, I'd never move on the continent. I'm rather counting on the eponymous warming up a little.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Atheists, Christians, some other religions might do OK on Mars but what about the muslims and the Jews? How will they be able to keep their religious observances that depend on certain phases of the moon and days of the week and time of the day? A fun project would be to design burka spacesuits for muslim women.

Logic tells us that "god" is omnipotent!
Doesn't he have any juristriction over any celestial body except earth!
That's just downright nonsense.

We know the bible is outdated. I think it's time for a major update.
Bible 2.0.

Let's go...   Page 1.    13.6 billion earth years ago...,
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

are safe on mars safe and sound without a freaking care in the world.  All in all even in space in a colony you wouldn't have to worry about god his angels and or demons
and satan. - This is just a critical thought of what if.

I think Mars will be included with the stars falling from the sky. If the sun falls on us, there goes Mars too. However, by all means, I would encourage you to go to Mars just in case Dyresand. Big Grin

Well, there's no need to worry on that score. Our Sun won't do anything other than swell into a red giant, shedding its outer layers in a pretty dumbbell nebula before settling into a white dwarf. It hasn't the mass for anything else. And it certainly isn't going to fall to earth.

It does raise a few questions about why yhwh chose to put its pinnacle of creation on a world doomed to fiery obliteration though.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

But according to the fairy tale some entities will live forever in a giant gaudy bejeweled golden cube called New Jerusalem on a waterless planet that doesn't have a sun or a moon.  How cool is that?

You do realize if all the mass in the universe would to fall from the sky everyone would already be dead depending on where they fall. If they simply shift position as in the sun just moves away or even has its orbit shifted causing it to leave the solar system all life is dead. If the sun decides to crash into the earth we would be dead before that. Anyways for all the stars to fall out the sky to be a thing its not possible. Big Grin

were doing pretty good and i hope we leave earth before our fiery doom. at that point im pretty sure no one would care about the middle east and the origin of
of their specific religions being destroyed.

Yeah... stars falling from the sky onto earth is like talking about bowling pins rushing through space, hitting a bowling ball, and scattering about.  Maybe technically true if there's no absolute frame of reference, but, in common parlance, the scale's all wrong...

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

Yeah theists tend not to know the scale of things i mean Saturn just dwarfs the earth. There is planets like earth that are bigger than it. Also if a star were to fall from the sky like the bible proclaims the person seeing it at night would see the stars fall fairly slowly or very quickly depending even then that star they are looking at would have to have fallen faster than the speed of light and again not possible.
