If you are bound to the 10 commandments, you are fucked. The Sabbath is on saturday, not Sunday. Saturday is the day of rest and worship.
The cathylicks have a slightly different set of 10 that eliminates that one because they're the ones that decided they knew better than gawd and changed the holey day.

I was (not so) politely asked to leave mom's church once when the topic of lukewarm christers came up. My comment that most of them are in more trouble with gawd that I am didn't go over terribly well. :angel:
The church I grew up in would have agreed with you probably. Being a lukewarm was a serious offense.

It's weird that Christians would keep the OT around as evidence of all the morality God taught that he was wrong about. He was so wrong that he had to try and correct them by sending down a less angry version of himself. Kind of messes up any ideas about him being perfect, about objective morality or about the bible having any relevance to us. I know he didn't actually delete these laws anyway, he clearly said not to, which was kind of an epic fail on his part. His stubborn and petty nature ruined the one chance to improve his broken rules.

Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets. The Greek word translated "fulfill" means "to make complete". Thus, the New Covenant includes and concludes the Old Covenant; it both perfects it and transforms it. While sacrificial laws of the OT expired with the sacrifice of Jesus, the moral law (the Ten Commandments, etc.) was retained and refined.

Actually according to the bible the sabbath is on Saturday. So people going to Church on Sunday aren't keeping holy the Sabbath anyway. That's in the 10 commandments. It's hell for them!
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says: "The Church celebrates the day of Christ’s Resurrection on the ‘eighth day,’ Sunday, which is rightly called the Lord’s Day" (CCC 2191).
The early Church did not move the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Instead "The Sabbath, which represented the completion of the first creation, has been replaced by Sunday, which recalls the new creation inaugurated by the Resurrection of Christ" (CCC 2190). Sunday is the day Catholics are bound to keep, not Saturday.

No it clearly says that not even a part of a single letter of the law will be changed until all things have happened. Is the world over? No. It's ok, don't feel bad. You're not the only Christian that lacks the faith to actually follow the bible by the letter.
