I'm scared to watch this video, I think my brain might implode
I'm so sick of religious people trying to rubbish science. Science is the one and only demonstrated method we have for getting as close to an accurate model of reality as we can. It represents the very best "tools" we have yet developed. Throw them away and you have either worse tools, or no tools. Demanding 100% certainty is a fool's game, and you're certainly not going to get closer using "other" methods. At a very basic level, if it works accurately, it is science. If it doesn't, it is not science. So if whatever crap they are talking about with their religious claims demonstrably works, then it is science and so falls under their own criticism. If it doesn't demonstrably work then it should be ignored. I'm putting all my money on the second option. If I'm feeling brave at some point I'll watch it, but god damn it... I know I'm going to want to scream at these guys! Religion keeps looking to pick a fight with science, but science is not "the competition". It just happens to make religion look very stupid as a side effect. Too bad. Feel free to send me a private message.

I'll take a look at the responses in more detail later, but just quickly, it is my understanding that science can inform morality. I might be wrong here, but science can tell humans what is and isn't moral. That's why abattoirs no longer slit throats and opt for stunning instead or why we are attempting to cut down on use of fossil fuels (because we care about lungs).
If it wasn't for science they'd no Kalaam Argument because they rely on scientists saying our universe is finite. However, the scientific definition of nothing is totally different from the religionists definition and that's one reason why Kalaam is such a poor argument. Never trust any fuck face with a holy book in his hand. If his lips are moving, he's lying.
there are logical conclusions and emotional conclusions. too bad most people do not understand the differences.
