Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)
RE: Atheism. The UNscientific belief (part two)
Yes, that's entirely accurate.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yes, although I'd contend that the technical term would be festers

I might have gone with putrefies.

But since you were first with festers, I'll go along.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Add to that the festering of the "atheism is a religion" post. Ugh.

That's what the demonstrable, testable, repeatable, and most importantly, falsifiable evidence points to.

If you are referring to inheritable traits, yes.

Quote:We only got the physical senses..........yeahhhhhhh......obvious.

Through the use of our intellect, we have extended those senses quite a bit with technology, but yes, the overwhelming mountains of evidence points to our 5 senses being the only ones we have.

If you believe you can demonstrate otherwise, apply for the James Randy $1,000,000 challenge and become rich and famous. Or donate the money.

But that is only the current state of our universe. It might have existed before the BB in a different state.

No, "So guess who is the idiot? I'm all ears!" is what is blatantly obvious. Stop fucking strawmanning me.

Evidence means 100% correct.
As we know so far you haven't reach the stage in which your statements are 100% correct so you can't really say that your statements are evidence.
A statements that come without solid evidence is better known as dogma.
Of course you can turn a dogma into truth once you are able to bring forward solid evidence.
So far you fail so we can keep your statements in the corral of dogma.
In the meantime the best thing to do is to take in consideration only what make sense
and your so called truth fail to do this but i will be back after work and point your failing one by one.
Have a good day.  Smile

Evidence means 100% correct. wrong; Evidence is the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid, evidence can be faulty and misinterpreted.
As we know so far you haven't reach the stage in which your statements are 100% correct so you can't really say that your statements are evidence.
A statements that come without solid evidence is better known as dogma.  wrong; Dogma is a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true, Statements that have no evidence are just rubbish or in the case of this thread, Each one of your posts.
Of course you can turn a dogma into truth once you are able to bring forward solid evidence.

So far you fail so we can keep your statements in the corral of dogma.
In the meantime the best thing to do is to take in consideration only what make sense  Which is to worship the one true god FSM.
and your so called truth fail to do this but i will be back after work and point your failing one by one. I'm sure that' what you think your doing, but so far it's been a train wreck.
Have a good day.  Smile

Emphasis mine.
"For the only way to eternal glory is a life lived in service of our Lord, FSM; Verily it is FSM who is the perfect being the name higher than all names, king of all kings and will bestow upon us all, one day, The great reclaiming"  -The Prophet Boiardi-

Jeebus fukknutz Kriste, I haven't seen you get so upset in the time I've been here!

Why can't this thread be closed? It must be getting only harder to argue that the parameters for posting with the purpose of upsetting other users haven't been breached. The only reason he's still here is because he still can get us to jump when he takes a poke at us.
Mr. Hanky loves you!
