The Meaning of Sin, False Christians, Atheists, and Misinterpretations

RE: The Meaning of Sin, False Christians, Atheists, and Misinterpretations
Quote:Einstein was a patent clerk with no scientific training who never invented a thing his entire life.

Not true: Albert Einstein held the patent for a special type of refrigerator.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Not as useful as a (noisy) refrigerator, perhaps, but noodling out the gravitational deflection of starlight by our sun prior to it being noticed was pretty clever too.

And regarding that little E=MC^2 thingy, might want to ask the folks in Nagasaki, and Hiroshima what they think of that . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Any factual evidence to back this up? I mean, serious proof that such a thing actually exists and is not a bunch of woo woo.

What separates me from others is the fact that my consciousness IS my brain and it is separated from the brains of others; not by virtue of some spirit essence but because of simple physical separation.

But I'm just playing with you right now, I should probably stop Tongue
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

Ah, the age old, "it's self-evident" argument. Snore.

It is always the example everyone gives, but tbh I don't understand the physics argument leading from E=mc^2 to nuclear fission. Sure, the resulting materials are lighter by the amount of energy that is converted in the explosion divided by c^2, but nukes would still work if that weren't the case, as long as one has the amount of binding energy expected in an atomic nucleus of the size and charge found in nature. It's all in the electrostatic repulsion of protons, no?

A boob is in no way a blunder. A blunder is usually something you try to avoid....

Actually a boob is what I latch onto when I pretend to blunder into a lady.
