Jesus sacrifice and why it didn't count

RE: Jesus sacrifice and why it didn't count
To absolve you of your sins I am going to kill myself. (Is not suicide a sin?) But, of course, I cannot really kill myself because I am god, but we can pretend can we not? After all, you are pretending I exist.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.
-- Homer Simpson

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.
-- Superintendent Chalmers

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.
-- Ned Flanders

Once something's been approved by the government, it's no longer immoral.

god/jesus committed suicide by cop. He never really died so his sacrifice to humanity is pointless since he never truly died.
This should raise a huge red flag considering god of the bible doesn't give two shits about human life.

I agree, the story makes no sense. Especially to those groups of people who think we are still all born in sin and simple belief in Jesus and this story of sin eradicting sacrifice is what absolves them. Adds another layer of stupidity and cruelty on top.

Yahweh's a pretty big hyocrite. "It's ok if he does it". That's pretty much what a hypocrite is.

The whole thing is totally crazy.  Why would God demand a sacrifice of his son, instead of just forgiving people?  Why cause unnecessary suffering at all?  What is accomplished by killing Jesus?

He just wants us to know how much he cares about us guys Rolleyes

At least the goats get a chance. You either slaughter a sheep on an altar, or you pray over a goat and send it into the wilderness. Goats may have a slim chance, but sheep have none.

Indeed, Jesus 'immortal soul' or 'spirit' thingy would have been 'part of God' for the limited duration of the 'death' experience anyhow.

No one has come forward and claimed Jesus was tormented in Hell in any way have they ??

Did the flames lick His toes ??  Did the demons taunt Him ??   Did Beelzebub violate His anus with his enormous barbed penis ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
