The Taboo of Number Two
#11
RE: The Taboo of Number Two
We've had the discussion before with friends. Why not go further and make the results of the endeavour a subject of conversation as well - consistency, ease of expulsion, amount. It sure is more important to one's well being than other trivialities that are talked about constantly...
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition

agreed. id be down.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I'm cool with that
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.

No, that's just his normal. His dad's the same way. We do suspect they might have a mild form of IBS, but it has not been diagnosed.

"Mild form"? If he goes 4-5 times EVERY day, he's got some kinda inhuman titanium-reinforced dwarf-star-forged anus. You may want to prod him to the doctor's...

Both his parents are doctors. I think if it was something serious, they would have addressed it, considering his dad is the same way.

4-5 was a bit of an exaggeration. It's more 3-4. Today he pooped 4 times.

Hi CL. Good to see you posting.
Since CL enjoys discussing #2's with us all, why don't the admins make it into a sticky one! hehe

Speaking of which ...... I need to go and evacuate my bowels...

There are all sorts of things that I wonder why society makes taboo. I have known people who used to get offended over commercials for tampons.

Two of my children started singing a South Park song about Christmas poop. My neighbor looked confused for a moment before she laughed

One way that society keeps people from discussing certain issues is to declare it immature.

During my times in the babble belt I've learned that you can have taboos about the weirdest things... that I hadn't even imagined
