Thoughts on origins

RE: Thoughts on origins
I treat it all as fake.  When I avoid sticking my imaginary hand in an imaginary fire, I do so to avoid the pain I would feel from doing so, and the effects it would have on my future imaginary hand.  I treat my imaginary wife well, as I like it when I see her sweet imaginary smile at me.

I wonder why science is expected to have all the answers now!
We have only just thrown off the shackles of religious thinking and developed the scientific method proper.
Be patient and the answer will come.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

No, no.  It is the agnostowaffles who waffle over origins.

I am NOT looking for proof or evidence, merely postulation on what you think.  I don't know is ok, but I'm really just looking for what you personally feel is most probable.

I don't know and don't need to know to be happy. That said though, I would like to know and do enjoy theorising about it and reading other people's theories on it, like in this thread. But I don't think the god theory answers the question of 'why something rather than nothing?' any better than anything else, if at all, because it itself, if it existed, would be something.

Someone took this rainwater and filtered it and made a water bottle full of water called water bottle A.
Someone took water from water bottle A and filtered it again and made a water bottle called water bottle B.
Someone took water from water bottle B and filtered it again and made a water bottle called water bottle C.
(Water in the water bottle cannot be created nor destroyed it can only transferred from one form of water to another.)
Now forget that there ever was a rain.

How was the water in water bottle C formed?
From water bottle B.
How was the water in water bottle B formed?
From water bottle A.
How was the water in water bottle A formed?
From the puddle of rainwater.
How was the water in the puddle of rainwater formed?
From the rain? No. Because you don't know that there ever was a rain.So the obvious answer would be that someone created the puddle of water and water bottle A,B,C are all the work of the creator.
This is the basic principle of a God aka The Creator.

Who can tell me how the puddle of rain water was formed? (Hint: the answer is not waffles! xD)

Basically,if you can figure out how the puddle of rain was formed you've discovered how the universe was created without even realizing it.

I'm going to reveal the answer.
It's not "I don't know" and it's certainly not "God made it". not waffles either

*The answer is that the puddle of rainwater was created from other small puddles of rainwater.

*Then by going through the examining the different characteristics of rainwater and experimenting with each of them one would find that the one characteristic of rainwater that can solve our problem(Origin of the puddle of rainwater)would be - water.

*Then one would examine water and then will find its chemical composition to be H2O.

*Then one would examine the process of how water is formed.

*We would discuss the different properties of water(its ability to exist in the gas, liquid, solid forms and such) and then would formulate that they puddle of rain water was formed by the evaporation of water and then eventually rainfall(we'd know it was due to rainfall because we would conduct experiments of water evaporating and then would study the results, rainfall would be one of the results).Water would have many properties so one would have to go through each of it to find out the origin of the puddle of rain water, which is quite inefficient and tiring nevertheless.

Now someone really really smart and with a keen grasp of physics kindly relate this with the origin of the universe.
(I think the basic element of the universe is "energy" and universe was created by this "energy".How was the energy created? From the stuffing together of other small energies. How was the small energies created?By stuffing together of other small small energies to form small energies. How was the small small energies formed?.....you get the point.
