What's the most face-palm-worthy statement you have ever heard from a priest/preacher

Some time before my Christian beliefs took their last gasping breath, a man came to my Church who claimed to be a prophet. At the time, I was feeling quite angry at my pastor and the mothers of my Church because one of said mothers had come on to me in a sexually suggestive manner and when she denied it, the pastor sided with her because she was a big time tither and I was not. He got up and reminded the whole congregation that the devil is the accuser of the brethren. This also made me livid with anger, but I didn't like feeling angry toward this man. It saddened me and when the congregation went up for the prophet to pray for them, I went up as well. He reached for my ears but I told him I had not come for that. Out loud, he said. "I know." Then he bent down and whispered. "Why did you come for?" I told him it's my mind. He told me(before you read this, you should be sitting down. Make sure your bladder is empty and there are no sharp objects within your immediate vicinity) he told me that since the Bible says faith comes by hearing and since I can't hear, faith can't come to me. My pastor just stood there, grinning like an idiot. Then the next day, he reminded everyone that without faith it's impossible to please god. I was in tears for days.

I am mortified by the things it does take to please this abhorrent god. Church is a cesspool of undigested lies.
