It's in the Bible. Paul did some but he didn't like the sucking part so that's why Christian males don't have to get circumcised. Imagine some weird guy sucking on baby Jesus!

Guess you'd better leave now, because on an atheist website the condemning of the rapist priests and the members of your fucking church that protects them will continue despite what you will or will not listen to.
See guys. It ain't so bad in the cathy-lick church. It's way better than other places...
And the implication of such an argument...
Not at all. Many here have told you they abhor child rapists wherever they occur but that what makes it extra specially bad when a priest does it is that he's presented to the world as a paragon of morality and then protected by the same church that projects that moral authority.
Really, what you want is to have it both ways. You condemn them from one side of your mouth while rationalizing from the other. It's honestly surprising you've not gotten whiplash from the mental gymnastics.
IOW, you don't actually have a quote from me defending pedophilia.
Defending the organization that protects them.
Good job dodging all the other points.

I've already stated that the individual bishops ALSO need to be evaluated carefully for their involvement.
YOU however, want to say that the entire institution is somehow guilty of pedophilia. That's 1.2 billion people. I don't think that's reasonable. Individuals were responsible - not the entirety of the Catholic Church.
As for the rest, I'm simply skipping over points that I've already addressed elsewhere.

Your straw man here is fucking ridiculous. I've never considered every single cathy-lick guilty by association nor have I made that accusation, even by implication. Only the ones perpetuating the crimes and the cover-ups and the cover-ups have gone all the way to the top under some of the popes.
Seriously Randy. Your turn. Show me the post where I accused every single cathy-lick in the world of collusion or drop your straw-man.
BTW - Saying a bishop should be "retired" for his collusion is not exactly a ringing condemnation of his crimes. Prosecution for aiding and abetting maybe, but not "retiring."

You're drunk, right? Stoned? What? The fairy tale says that Jesus was circumcised when he was eight days. So the guy that did it sucked him off in accordance with the ritual.

So, is it funny or sad that we agree on this point?!?

Specifics, please. What crimes and what popes are you referring to?

I have highlighted two places above where you refer to "the...church" and "the organization".
Who is the "Church", SoW? Who is "the organization"?
The pope, bishops and priests? That's incorrect. The Church is the people of God. All of us Christians and, in this context, ALL of us Catholics. Not just the leaders. So when you accuse the church or the organization, you accuse everyone who is a member of protecting, aiding and abetting.
Maybe you did this in error, but if you have an issue with individuals in the Church, say so. And if you have an issue with individual members of the hierarchy of the Church, fine, say that. In the passages above, you named ALL Catholics when you named "the Church".

I have to ask...do you have any idea how a circumcision is performed? For real?

Zipporah used a sharp stone. Exodus 4:25. I wonder if she sucked it like the guys do? Gotta follow the ritual if you want it to count, right?

Anything the doof featured in this video (the one not in the suit of armor) has ever said. Ever.
