This makes Christian morality not based on what actions a person takes, but who is taking the actions. If your answer to the question "is murder wrong?" is "it depends on who does it", your morality is probably fucked up.

Yet the same people that consider abortion to be murder will claim that it's okay for God to kill babies. Did those babies do something different that the aborted fetuses didn't (thus, making it their fault), or is the difference here that it's okay for God to do the killing?

If it's the first, I doubt you can prove that. If it's the second, you just proved my point.

God made those babies knowing they would grow up to be evil. So he had to correct his mistake by killing them.

It's the second, and no, it doesn't prove your point. That a human killing another human may be murder does not necessarily imply that god killing a human is murder, any more than it implies that a human killing an animal is murder.
