The impudent interference of the European's way of life and values

These exceptions should however remain case by case decisions and not bleed into the general social norm or laws, I fully agree with that.

What I really bristled at was the part,

" otherwise we will consider you racist. "

You don't come to visit someone's house....much less be taken in by them when your own house is on fire...

...and start demanding that they change their decor,
when they're already giving you shelter, food, dignity, and a place to sleep,

...but you sure as fuck don't say,

" change your decor or I will consider you to be a racist. "

THAT is when people would be fully within their rights to open their eyes wide, blink,
and say,

" I see.  Well,  there's the door. "

I'm afraid I am not very liberal or enlightened when it comes to Muslim immigrants. If it were up to me I would make sure each and everyone of them understood and signed a contract before being accepted. In it they would have to acknowledge certain values of the society they wish to join. They would have to explicitly renounce offense from the ordinary expression of freedom of speech as well as the resort to terrorism by any group. Their citizenship would always become voided if they ever transgressed the agreement.

Guess I am a conservative on this issue.

At its core, Islam only really works in its own Theocracy, I think.

I can't say I'm exactly an expert,
but what I do know of Islam seems to indicate it really isn't compatible with secular society.

That doesn't mean it CANNOT work, in practice, but in theory, it shouldn't work in a secular society, at all.

Christianity SHOULD, however.  Christianity really has no excuse for its behavior in America, IE Kim Davis.
Christ never instructed his followers to cut down non-Christians,
or to endeavor to make His teachings into Civil Law.
Christians took that upon themselves.

I still despise both religions, in any event.

I think this has a tendency to get worse as the number of refugees increases. Good luck with that. In Portugal, we have dinner between 7.30-9.30 pm (usually around 8-8.30pm), if an immigrant came here and decided to protest and wanted to change his work schedule because we have dinner too late, we would politely tell him to go fuck himself. I don't see why anything else should be different when it comes to refugees, immigrants and outsiders. Every nation is sovereign and dominated by a specific culture, that culture is usually more common and people who don't know it have the duty to assimilate accordingly if they want to live with us. I genuinely believe most refugees are good people with no extremist ideals, but I also think this is a great way to smuggle terrorists and culturally incompatible rednecks.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

That last bit about racists... That makes me wonder if that report was fabricated...
Alas, I can't read the original, nor know the context of that news organization to make a more educated guess.

We were over that storm in the water glass when it actually was news in june. It's one headmaster formulating a letter of advice to the parents. The parents took it in stride, the rightwingers didn'tand jumped the igot train immediately. But it was only an advisory in the first place, saying that they had teen refugees in a neighbouring building, who aren't used to sexy female outfits. Their girls might get stared at, and that was all it said.

So my gut feeling that the "racist bit" was fabricated seems spot on! Smile Cool
