Dear Christians: What does your god actually do?

I don't mean that as a term of disrespect, but I do mean that the guy is profiting off the average Christian not knowing what Muslims really think, or how they operate. You're telling me that Muslims let thousands of legitimate archaeologists visit and legally dig/research at sites all across the Middle East, let tourists go to their countries for numerous reasons, even to live (in places like Egypt) and attend universities, yet they won't let this one guy go there because they're afraid of what he will find?

Not the legitimate archaeologists... just him? Seriously?

I have no idea which archaeologists the allow to enter their countries, I do not know any Christian archaeologists that are allowed to search for artifacts. What I'm saying is they do not want Israel to be a legitimate nation that God called out of Egypt, Christians are considered the enemy of Islam and defenders of Israel and they most likely believe that Christian would put a positive edge on anything found, whether it's true or not. I know that Islam shares some of the OT with the Israelites and Christians, as for a study or any meaningful reading no I haven't done so, Christianity is a full time work.

GC

Why would it matter if the archaeologists studying these regions were Christians? Do you insist that findings in other fields are also made by Christians before you'll tentatively accept their work as valid? Of course not. Would it matter to you if you knew that a significant number of important archaeological digs conducted in recent decades were done by teams of reputable Israeli archaeologists? Could they be trusted by a Christian to come to reasonable conclusions regarding their findings? You might think that Israeli archaeologists would be motivated to prove the Exodus took place or that the narratives concerning the kingdom of Judah under David and Solomon are largely true, no? Yet the consensus is that the Exodus didn't take place and that the kingdom of Judah was an insignificant backwater whose importance and grandeur is grossly exaggerated in the Bible. Are you going to dismiss their work because it doesn't feed your need for validation? This information isn't hard to find, even for a full-time Christian who is much too busy to learn about Islam. There are books in libraries and articles you can access online. You have no excuse for dismissing these things just because you fear the results.

Look, GC, I'm trying really hard not to laugh at you, and to take you seriously, here. But you're making it tough on me.

You are seriously arguing that, despite thousands of archaeologists who do enter their countries, they somehow test to make sure they're not Christians before they grant the permits?

You are seriously arguing that they're so worried about Israel being a modern nation that they're willing to deny that there ever was an historical Israel?!

You are seriously arguing that even though the story of Moses is in the Qur'an, they hate the Israelis and Christians so much that they'd rather hide proof of the Qur'an being true, in order to hide the proof of the other two being true as well? Even though it backs up all three of them at the same time!?!

What is the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE), then, which just made this major discovery a few months ago?

Why did Egypt allow Christian researchers from Spain to find this image of Jesus instead of covering it up?

And so on. I could go on for hours listing all the Christian (and neutral/academic) groups doing research in Muslim countries.

Your dude is a charlatan. He plays to your ignorance about how Muslim countries work in order to make himself famous, make it seem like he has the truth but that there's a conspiracy against him. But it doesn't hold up when you shine the light on the hypothesis!

Wake up!
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

You.can.not.use.N.R.V.'s.to.diagnose.a.nutrient.deficiency.in.individuals. Early diagnosis of vitamin deficiency is difficult, and considered clinically impossible to get 100% right, due to the fact that different people need different levels and deficiency usually develops without any early warning signs.

Humans have existed for 200,000 years or longer, and not a single ancient human bone ever discovered was of a vegetarian (which they can check from the protein composition).

I also have a B12 deficiency and take a supplement. I wasn't trying to diagnose anything, what I presented showed that people can get enough B12 from eggs and dairy without eating meat. Low B12 is not a killer for people, it does mean some will have health problems, but not all, I do not seem to be suffering from a lower B12 than what's considered to be the norm. You are running farther and farther from what the Bible contains.

GC

No, what you said is they can reach the RDI. And as I pointed out RDIs are useless when talking about individual deficiency - as you yourself well know. If some people can't get enough with meat, then even more people can't get enough with Eggs and Dairy alone. I don't know anyone who eats 10 eggs a day. I don't know anyone who eats 5 eggs and drinks 1L of milk a day. RDI's are supposed to cover 97% of healthy individuals. It doesn't take into account people that aren't healthy - and the number of people who aren't in perfect health is quite substantial. Part of the reason why those people are unhealthy is because they're unable to attain the right nutrient balance (obviously), therefore as I mentioned, the RDI doesn't give you any meaningful information when diagnosing a person who has a deficiency. Even if it did, 3% of healthy people need more than is specified by the RDI.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

It's an offshoot of Christianity, which is an offshoot of Judaism. That's all Bible stuff. They actually think Moses's Torah, David's Psalms, and Jesus's Gospel are pretty good; they just also happen think Christians fucked up the message because they're stupid and misinterpreted and/or added things, so Gaud had to come along again and correct himself again by sending another prophet to clarify things.

I really do not like responding to you, but in this case to show you how wrong you are I've decided to respond. Islam denies the divinity of Christ, Judaism is the stopping short of following God's will, the Jewish people are famous stopping short of God's will and accepting His promises. The Islamic nations know if parts of the Bible are shown to be true it would destroy their false religion, why because of Jesus many references to the OT. They are fine with things the way they are, because they believe in their deluded minds they have things right, they are a war mongering group, just look at the Middle East, they're even killing their own selves because they can't agree on what is right and what's not in their own religious book.

Lol Islam is rooted in the Abrahamic religions, bro. They accept parts of both Old and New Testament as truth that has been distorted/added to by humans. If most or all of the Bible were actually disproven, it would be completely devastating to Islam. Virtually the only thing from the Bible that would hurt them a little bit is if it were possible to prove that Jesus is actually a god and not just a "prophet," but alas, it's not possible to prove that.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

George also noted the 'Real God' of whom we actually know nothing, is too busy flinging gas balls around the firmament to ever bother with us.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Doesn't God frown on evidence? I mean his whole thing is "Have faith in me or you will go to hell."
You can't have faith in something thats proven. Doesn't that mean the Christian archaeologists are basically trying to condemn everyone to hell?

No, it means Christians want to bring evidence to the truths of the Bible so those who doubt or do not believe might.

GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Of the bible, from the bible to the bible.

Don't you see our problem with that ??
