Born in a small town. Don't care to live in a small town now, or a big city for that matter. Prefer to see grass and trees, while still having access to stuff.
Wouldn't mind New Orleans or Baltimore, though.....at least for extended visits.

Born in a mediumish town. Lived in cities and mediumish towns. My ideal is where I am now, a mediumish town about an hour from a city. I wouldn't mind if the city were a little bigger and the town a little smaller though.

I need infrastructure. Buses, healthcare, etc. San Diego, an enormous city, but not global like L.A., has that. Putney/Brattleboro, not so much. That said, Brattleboro, VT was a really pretty town to be near in Putney.

Born and raised in Akron until I was about 11. Guns at the middle school I was about to start in were becoming common, so my parents moved us to the country fearing my smart mouth would get me killed. Probably a good move either way. I can't do cities, but I wouldn't mind living in Lakewood up near Cleveland. But I prefer long roads, pastures, and corn fields to crammed highways and people.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Started on a farm with a population of nine (not counting itinerant labour or livestock), spent the largest chunk of my adult life (so far) in Belfast (half a million) and now live in the largest town in Northland, population about six and a half thousands. It fits.

I think I get the award for the least travelled person.
Never lived more than 25 miles from the hospital I was born here in Melbourne.

Grew up in a suburb overlooking NYC, went to school in New England to learn to be a cow scientist, (which people in my hometown talk about as if they had poop under their nose), now live in the midwest in a place so rural that we can't get decent internet. I miss the east coast. The rural setting suits me, but I miss culture and decent restaurants. There isn't even any decent Italian or Chinese here. Curiously, we can get good sushi.
If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.

I'm goin to have to steal that award from you. I've always lived 2.7 miles away from the hospital I was born at.
I don't know if that makes me the least travelled though, I've had long distance girlfriends.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
