UPDATE.....so i went and saw my doctor today, he did not hospitalize me like I had feared. But he did get me back on some medication, and indicated I'd likely stop feeling manic in a few days. As I had hoped, he did not seem interested in what belief system i chose. However, he did indicate that it is very likely i came to this conclusion while in the manic state, rather than the conclusion being the catalyst that 'caused me to go manic. As such, I think it would be prudent for me to stop going head first into my newfound atheism, and pump the brakes a little bit. I had originally intended to meet with other atheists in my area, i had found a local group that meets once a month at a restaurant tonight, but now I'm thinking it might be better for me to wait for my med's to kick in, and re-contemplate my existence again under those conditions. I can always meet them next month. I suspect I'll come to the same conclusion, but as my name suggests, I'm a cautious individual, and i feel this would be most prudent. Thank you for the welcoming arms, and i hope to see you all again in about a week. (I'm going to try to stay away from the forums & from atheist you tube videos for about a week).
