I don't "hope" because there are so many thousands of religions out there that it's unlikely that a relatively new one like Christianity is correct, especially when you realise Hinduism and others have been around so much longer.

Would it be nice to have an afterlife?  Depends what that afterlife entails.

Right about what? That theists have not been able to meet their burden of proof? On that point, I am right. 


But more importantly, I am asymptotically close to certainty, that you are wrong.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
