Ugggggg, nobody is saying import more violent Muslims, but it is inhuman to your fellow human to assume everyone who flees war will become violent. I would rather risk terrorists than to turn away one non violent human.

And I can tell you at least in America, we have far more gun deaths from use in the home and threats from right wing hate groups and mass shootings having nothing to do with Islamists.

Just like with any crime someone might get accused of. I would rather let 10 guilty go free than convict one innocent person. 

Yes it sucks, but we cannot end up resorting to the same inhumanity these violent assholes commit. If we let these assholes get to us to that level of paranoia they win and we no longer live in a free society, we will end up living in our own prison. 

We have had Timothy McVeigh, we have had the Unibomber, Dillon Roof, and sick fucks like the two tea party nuts who murdered two officers and a civilian. And we had the biker gang murder 9 people in a shootout. We have far more of that here in the states than we have to with Muslims.

My biggest fear is that it somehow is revealed that the people who committed this atrocity were masquerading as refugees from Syria. Expect to see a massive backlash against people who need help if that occurs.

Disgusted. The French government according to the BBC have already been 'told' who has committed this. Obviously it is Islamic terrorists but I would expect to see this revealed in due course. 100 hostages currently held in the Bataclan Concert Hall.

As above, borders already shut in France. I hear from a friend connected to the diplomatic service here that other European states will be following suit imminently. Already it begins.

I did have family in Paris and I've been several times. Luckily they don't live there anymore, but still., I love France and Paris. Vive la France.

NOBODY is saying don't go after the criminals or the violent people. If a Muslim murdered my family I still would not blame Malala or our our Muslim congressman Keith Ellison. 

I only agree that the Middle East still stuck in the past as far as theocracy. But I will not abandon my own compassion or empathy in the face of possible danger. Beating the shit out of your fellow human being in reaction to a horror far too often murders innocent people along with your target. Now you damned well don't like Bush or Dick Cheney and look how  they responded. Iraq was not justified an 10,s  of thousands of non military civilians were killed. Nothing I am proud of as an American.
