Remember, John McCain was a big ISIS supporter. At this very minute we are supporting other terrorist groups who may be worse than Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and ISIS. We supported and funded all of those groups.

That's because Middle East is the sandy asshole of the world, occupied - apparently - by violent, immoral animals, that can only be kept from raping each other to death by war-loving theocratic tyranny, with the power to strip-search anyone, anywhere, cut off body parts and execute people on the spot... We, in most of Europe, have recently enjoyed high levels of freedom, security and privacy characteristic to civilized, secular and democratic societies - we could even freely scratch ourselves, imagine that! That is - until people, who are still stuck in the Dark Ages brought their disease over here...
And you can blame the "extremists" for that, if it helps you sleep at night, but it's true that the majority of muslims living in Europe (not to mention those who live in Islamic countries - because nobody asks them) is against personal liberties, like freedom of speech and for the barbaric sharia law.
So yeah - I'm sure security measures all around Europe will increase from now on - although it will most likely be just more security theatre, like airport security after 911. And I can assure you, this constant reminder of the fact, that we are at war won't make the average European any more sympathetic to the plight of Islamic refugees. Or muslims being bombarded in their own countries, for that matter.

What kind of an outcome do you anticipate over the next 20 years?

The idea of "the chosen" people is can hardly be stripped from the mentality of humans. If religion was destroyed for good, there will still be the "elite" syndrome where business men/ wealthy people/ politicians and all, love to feel important and all, build fancy halls and make lots of fancy parties "only for them to attend"; then sooner or later they become the new "chosen people".
If you meant religion, I think the chosen people phenomena has nothing to do with religion.

Paris is peaceful ? http://www.numbeo.com/crime/city_result.jsp?country=France&city=Paris That's a city with a moderate crime rate for starters. So yes; seriously. I have already said I agree with a lot of what you've said on the political situation, but the criticism of teh security measures on the ground are unfounded in my opinion.
We might again disagree, since ISIS claim responsibility for charlie & then again cracked the security around the magazine's office (which I see very ironic).

What happened in Charlie Hebdo is what got me to question security. The attack was coordinated too.
I agree, dictators supported by so many European countries. Europe acheived its prosperty and freedom, through exporting its civil madness to the outside. No offense, but there's a very big chance that those attacks on france were planned by Europeans, or did you forget the parties that made profit until now from the incident ?

Which wouldn't be as big of a problem...if we were, or were even capable of -actually- commanding them...which we aren't - and never have been. There's no doubt that american guns and american money end ups in terrorist and insurgent hands. There's alot of it, it ends up in alot of hands. We don't keep strict controls. Sometimes we give one group of cocksuckers the arms to defeat another group of cocksuckers and they decide to use them on a third group of cocksuckers instead. This is not a revelation to me or anyone else. I was wondering why people think that this means that ISIS, for example, is under the command of the CIA. If I handed you 100 bucks and a pistol, would that mean you now took orders from me?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

In comparison to the Middle East, Paris IS a veritable utopia you cretin, that is the very point. This was a comparison between Paris and the Middle East, one that you made when questioning the security measures. Fuck me pal, you are genuinely terrible at this.
European or not, this evil bastards were MUSLIM.
One point here, what do you think of the attacks themselves? Do you think they were justified? On Charlie Hebdo or the latest attack?

No, but there's still a problem with that line of thought. If you hand 100 bucks and a pistol to someone, you better make sure, they're not in the business of shooting you.

Most of the people we've handed cash and guns to have not used them to shoot at us. We have a great track record there, and that's including those cases where they do. I fear that we might be suffering from selection bias, in making the comment above. We pour money and guns to our allies, and the enemies of our enemies like a tidal wave.

Skepticism dates back as far as 1979, when arming and training a certain bunch of people because they happened to fight the Soviets, backfired royally. A certain someone among them, who later on proceeded to become enemy #1. I see history repeating itself in Syria these days.
