I believe your belief is wrong. There are two goddesses and they are twins. They make their appearance in many forms and bring much joy to the world. They feed babies, they pleasure men and women alike.
Blessed be the holy mounds, the sacred nipple and the holy aoreola.
Gentle gods, they are.
We shall all motorboat on that for a while.

Your belief is a load of tits! It sounds like the booby prize.
Keep me abreast of any better ideas you have

I never said it was the only reason I believe what I do. I simply said my reasons are not entirely based on faith and wishful thinking.
Problem is, you give us so little to go on that trying to get a handle on it is like carrying fog in a string bag. It's why I prefer to get the definitions upfront, that way there's no equivalent of the "that's not what I believe/said" card up the sleeve.
Any thoughts about my testimony, btw? I put a lot of work into it. I'd hate for it to go to waste.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's because I have no interest in using it to try to convince you to believe what I believe. Again, the only reason I mentioned it is because I don't like it when strangers on the internet make assertions about me like they're facts.

Sorry, I did not mean to ignore your story. You kind of write like JK Rowling. Or maybe it's just a normal British flare lol. Anyway, I enjoyed reading it and felt really sad for you about Sam.
I don't know what else to say about it other than that, since I was not there and don't even know what the whole setting is like. Is it possible an animal could be in there? Could someone have thrown something and then hid? I have no idea because I was not there and don't know what the possibilities could have been.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

(Basically it goes from most certain there is no God, to least certain. I am curious to see the answers!)
Banter aside and going for the jugular, I am certain your god or any god is not real. There isn't a single precise definition of what that is! Death and war are glad to use gods to their advantage. Pinning beliefs agaist beliefs, feelings against feelings.
We are alone! There is no god to save us, but our collective will. If you believe as I do in that we can make things better for everyone.
If we have a purpose, we will have to find it ourselves. To quote phillestenes.

Nope, no animals. I gave all the information I had to hand at the time. Encouraging that you tried a mundane explanation over a supernatural one though. That's the point of my doing this.
And thank you for your lovely comments about my Sam. You made me smile for the first time in as long as I remember. As for my writing style, if I ever get my novels finished I look forward to hearing what you think of them. They won't be comfortable reading, I forewarn you.

Of course, possibility of natural causes have to be ruled out first. I would never think otherwise.
I could tell you have a flare for writing, even in that short account. Definitely let us all know about your novels when they are done.
(ps- did you ever figure out what made the noise?)
