I am constantly amazed that xtians repeat this drivel, Theo, without seeing how it makes their so-called god look like a complete shmuck. Seriously. How can you worship something so utterly clueless?

What I find about it, is that his plans are ridiculous. He plans abortions, he plans rape, he plans murderer, he plans poverty, he plans suffering, he planned the Holocaust, he planned 9/11, and all of that. If he planned everything, then that means that we are all brainwashed, and that we are doing what he wants us to do and that we have not free will. What do you all think about this so-called God's "perfect" plan. God knows everything but he has given us the freedom to obey or disobey him. The evil in the world occurs because all of us have chosen to disobey rather than do what he wants us to do. The evil happens not because of those who don't follow him, because that would mean that the people to blaim are those 70+% of the entire world population. The evil happens because people do evil things regardless of believing in that myth or not.

They also do the good things, regardless of your myth.

Anyone who has taken the time to actually read the bible can clearly see that Gods so called plan is far from perfect, in fact it is outright stupid. By making the claim that God is omniscient (all knowing) that right there means that he knew how his ridiculous plan was going to pan out. Yet in Genesis 6:6,7 6.And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7.And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. So much for his so called omniscience, the bible is full of claims like this that put in question the various attributes of God. Christians can chalk it up to free will but that still does not negate the fact that God apparently did not know what was going to happen.
Gods perfect plan in a nut shell is that he created man to worship him, man failed and became sinful through disobedience, then he made man sacrifice animals as atonement for our sins. When God became sick of animal sacrifices which were not quite working he sent his son to die on the cross and serve as a sacrifice on behalf of mankind. The ultimate goal being to save mankind so that he can earn a place in gods presence in heaven or the New Jerusalem and continue blowing smoke up Gods ass forever and ever amen.
