That wasn't my argument. My point was the bold made it very clear he was a Poe, it was obvious Satire, just very unfunny.
True you can be mentally ill and punctuate just fine. But I will say from personal experience that when I experienced acute psychosis for 8 weeks I lost the ability to punctuate, spell or think properly.

I agree facts don't lie. They can't lie, since they don't make statements. They are statements, which are true by definition.
I think it's fairly reasonable to assume that there are facts, but it's not reasonable to assume that we can ever know for sure that what we think is a "fact" is actually a fact. All we can do is to deal with reasonable doubt. After all, pragmatism is the final frontier or something.
