I live on disability as well. I'm rather frugal, and not having a car saves a ton of money.

How do you earn money?

The test lab was fun, at least as far as breaking things, management, on the other hand, was despicable and deplorable. Not nice people. Manager of the department was irrational, and not in a fun way:
The lab got really backed up with past due work, we begged the manager to prioritize the work list, and for quite a while he refused. Finally he sent the list out, and EVERYTHING was priority 1 except for one item which was priority 6. Where do you start with that kind of managerial acumen ?? The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Manager of the department was irrational, and not in a fun way: I can relate to this just because I've had managers that have not just done a bad job, but it goes to the extent where it seems as if they're trying hard to make stupid decisions on purpose. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.

IT profeshunal, working for one of the mega-large integrated IT companies. Manwhore on the side. Actually, my GF might disagree with the order of my profeshuns as manwhoring has taught me a lot of things and clearly occupies my thoughts far more than my IT work. The topic of Asian twins comes up on a regular basis.
As for spending -- wine, a nice house with a view, oodles of music equipment, drooling over cars I can't afford and some I can, the occasional firearm. The usual. And then there is requisite manwhore wardrobe...$$$
I'm hustler baby, I just want ya to know....
JesusH, tell me about your music equipment...

Marketing & advertising dept for a firm, and while I love my job, and the salary is great ...corporate America can be a pain. :/
I'm not very frugal, but getting better. My family is wealthy, and never taught me how to save money. So, that has been a hard learning curve for me. But, nowhere near the shopaholic I used to be. If/when I spend money, it's often on my friends, I love to treat friends to nice dinners to celebrate them or life, or whatever. I also give to some charities, but if I'm shopping for non-essentials, I tend to go for perfumes, clothes, and make up. lol Usually shop online more, because the deals are better than at a retailer/mall. A lot of what I make gets sold on consignment, but I also do custom pieces. Actually, I have, but I can't seem to find it now. I'll get some pictures of my stuff up soon, I promise. Boru

When I was younger I would think having a few hundred pounds would make me ecstatic, not just because I'd spend some of the money on ecstasy, because everything I wanted at that age cost a lot less than a few hundred, for example clothes, drugs, computer games, a few nights out. I'm 31 now and I have different desires, I mainly desire sex (which I wouldn't pay for) health ( I have a gym membership but you can't buy health directly from a shop) and now I also have a newborn baby to pay for my desire is to pay for specific things for my baby. I've saved up quite a bit in the hopes of maybe putting a deposit on a house, possibly on my own but it would be easier if I made a commitment with a girl I liked and did it with her. The whole thing could turn out to be like of mice and men though, you save up for your own piece of land and end up getting shot in the back of the head by someone you trust.
