RE: Scientific knowledge versus spiritual knowledge
Not only that but justified true belief isn't always enough to be knowledge:

1) AF would be very very dull if not for theists.
2) I don't tell everyone they are stupid and ignorant, just people like you.

Is there justified true belief of spiritual things?  How does one verify that their beliefs about spirituality are justified and true?

What of the spiritual is considered knowledge?

How do you distinguish between what you call a "spiritual" belief from the set of all possible beliefs?

Belief, but not spiritual.

Are we justified in believing in human value?

Sure we are.

I value my life, the life of my family and friends, and by reason of being a human being, biased toward my own species, I have the ability to extrapolate value on to others I do  not personally know.

All it takes is a bit of empathy, our evolutionary past, and logic and reason.

There is zero reason to posit a deity in order to value human beings.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

What scientific evidence is there to prove human worth or value?

Did you base your belief in human value on science or other then that?

Do you believe humans before scientific method were justified in believing in human value or not?

No it would still be very interesting and still be full of awesome people, it would be just less interesting and full of less awesome people, although many of the theists are not so interesting (as many of the atheists aren't).

Well you're wrong, she isn't. It's also rude and unnecessary to say to her.

"Value" is a subjective judgement. Nothing can prove anything has objective value.

What some weird being supposedly watching us all thinks about it is as subjective as anything else.

Either you care about other people being happy, or you don't. You can find reasons to justify that to yourselves logically or "spiritually" but in the end it's just how you are. Of course, people can change over time though.
