Saudi lobbying has become way to influential. This needs to stop. There is to much Saudi money corrupting minds in the West. It's always the Fascist vocal minority that screams for this crap.
If there is a real injustice I am on the side of the Muhammadans but this I cannot support. Pandering to the 5% who are moronic enough dehydrate and starve themselves at the expense of the 95%. Surely if Ramadan makes you less able to do your job or exam then it's a clear sign that is a load of rubbish. I mean, can you imagine Ramadan on the moon? It's such an idiotic practise. WHAT expense? The kids are sitting their exams early - ALL of the kids are sitting their exams early. No one is at a disadvantage, no one is going to suffer by this. Exam season doesn't roll round for several months yet, so everyone knows they'll have a few fewer days for revision. This isn't pandering - this is a reasonable accommodation of religious belief. No one is being hurt by this. Boru

Agreed, there is a significant Muslim presence in the UK, making such an adjustment is not unreasonable. Now institutionalized Sharia, that's a different story.
