I don't disagree, but most places carry one or the other.

Apple juice with a dash of spearmint oil.

Modelo Especial or Negra Modelo is my cerveza of choice while in Mexico. But Dos Equis is amahzing in direct sunlight.

I've never been much of a fan of Modelo Especial, and I don't know what it is about Modelo Negro, it makes me want to take a nap. Otherwise it's thumbs up.
I have a hard time finding Dos Equis dark. I have to wonder if it's primarily for export. I absolutely will not drink Victoria, Estrella or Sol. *barf*
Never had Victoria, but your summation of the latter two is spot on.

I can sum it up in two words "donkey piss". It's worse than Sol, it is perhaps better than Estrella. Maybe. I remember one time my brother, sister and I went fishing in Barra de Navidad. The only place open at 5am carried only Estrella. We bought four six packs. We - three hard core beer drinkers - brought twenty-one beers back to the dock with us and gave them away. If you're already pissed when starting out, you probably won't notice. And by the way, I heard believable claims that LaBaz is the worst beer on the planet. I've not had LaBaz, but I have a hard time imagining a world where there's a beer that is worse than Milwaukee's Best or Pabst Blue Ribbon--that which already tastes like beer vomit.

Living at the heart of beer production, don't ask me what I think of any American beer, if you want to keep things civil.
All of the mass produced stuff is shit, to be sure.
There are some microbrews that make killer beer here.
