If you care about the well being of a fellow human being, why would you be ok with being part of doing something that you know they would deeply regret? Agreed. Being a former fundie in my youth, most individuals who are Christian fundamentalists value romance over their faith; of course, there are exceptions. Would she deeply regret it though, or would it just be just guilt brought on by her belief? I would talk to her afterwards about freedom of thought, and would hope she could see that she was not a slave to Jesus. And, my OP was directed at consensual sex between consenting adults. But, yes, some fundamentalist Christian women and men are horny. I met one her recently whose husband divorced her after she had sex with a man several houses away from the one she was occupying at the time, while she, her husband and her kids were living with her husband's aunt, as they were trying to buy a house together in town. They are Biblical literalists, while at the same admitting that they are a "sinner in need of grace," but the important part is that they want to romp. They don't know that you're an atheist and they don't ask. Would you "do it"? Sounds kinky. If it was just banging, then sure. I wouldn't date a Christian though.
I mean, religious beliefs don't often come up during intercourse. Hell, not even before or after most times. So...sure.

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Where does the hypothetical say they will deeply regret the sex afterwards? I've noticed many Christians doing profoundly unChristian things that they seem to have no trouble rationalizing later.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
