RE: My anti-theistic perspective

Several things I hate about the ways of theists.
-The way they use Hell as a threat for those who don't believe, and how many of them take glee in the idea that atheists will one day be in hell and get their comeuppance for having a different belief than them.
-The way they treat women in general. "It's not a legitimate rape if..." sounds familiar. Women are also forbidden from becoming ordained in Catholicism, and the treatment of women by Muslims speaks for itself.
-The way they are convinced they are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. That there's no possibility that they're wrong.
-The way they treat homosexuals.
-The way they say "NOT ALL ____". Sure, not all of you, but enough of you are vocal about it. It's very much a factor. Also "No True" fallacy fits in here as well.
-The way many of them want to force their beliefs on others. Especially through policy
-The way most of them refuse to have any skepticism and just readily accept the bible as inerrant. Even though we have no idea who wrote it.
-The way most of them outright deny science, no matter how much proof is in front of their faces
-The way they say "God works in mysterious ways" to explain everything they can't explain
-The way they use god to explain things they can't explain
-The way they are so judgmental. Too many Christians have I known who say you'll go to hell just because you don't go to church enough.
-The way many of them assume they have a monopoly on love, and think anything that falls outside their definition of love is perversion.
There's many many many things. And no, they don't apply to EVERY theist. You'll never find anything that applies to EVERY body of ANY group. That's why I listed that as one of the things I hate about them.
The whole tone of Church teaching in regard to woman is, to the last degree, contemptuous and degrading. - Elizabeth Cady Stanton

I am an antitheist because being an atheist just wasn't cool enough for me. Now I'm just awesome.

*sigh*
I suppose if you were Muslim, then just being a peaceful believer wouldn't be "cool" enough for you?
So much for conviction or cause in the decisions of some!

You're the kid that got bullied in school, aren't you?
First of all if I were a muslim, I would be an entirely different person. So your reasoning is flawed from the start.

Being the stupid fuck who bullies other kids around school grounds, guess you wouldn't know that.
It means you need better, more responsibly thought-out reasons for the positions which you take than you have been stating. "It's more cool" is for stupid juveniles. Are you really that dumb and immature?
Does your mother know that you hang out here?

That is just the most a-mazingly stupid statement which I have ever seen, and it really shows just how pitifully shallow your understanding is of other people. You, Sir, have a very serious problem, to be thinking you are really any better than the average Muslim on a personal level. It's true, as I've pointed out before that religion can bring out the worst in some people, but it's guaranteed that the average Muslim terrorist gives no less thought to the decisions which he makes than you have on your positions here, and the general degree of understanding which you have for theists as human beings much like yourself is beyond disturbing. Actually, they really aren't much like you, most of them are better. Much as they wear my patience thin, some atheists are actually worse.

Being the stupid fuck who bullies other kids around school grounds, guess you wouldn't know that. Hmm. Let me put it into perspective for you. I never beat anyone up, instead I picked on seniors in seventh grade to the point where the administration told them to avoid me and my friend. Oh, nice times. I laughed so much during those times I must've extended my lifetime by decades.

Your lack of empathy is evident. The idea that the lives of other humans are of less value is good evidence of a lack of conscience, a hallmark of sociopathy. Here's what ICD-10 has to say:
Quote:A disorder characterized by a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others that is manifested in childhood or early adolescence. (adapted from dsm-iv)
A personality disorder whose essential feature is a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood. The individual must be at least age 18 and must have a history of some symptoms of conduct disorder before age 15. (from dsm-iv, 1994)
Personality disorder characterized by conflict with others, low frustration tolerance, inadequate conscience development, and rejection of authority and discipline.
Personality disorder whose essential feature is a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others through aggressive, antisocial behavior, without remorse or loyalty to anyone.
You're certainly advocating for rights violations, and your conscience doesn't seem very developed to me.
I may not have a degree, but I do know how to read ... and I stayed in Holiday Inn Express a few years ago.

Why chain one's self to mask after mask, only to be less of an individual?
It's quite revealing that you think these feelings of yours are widely shared.
