It's a 2015 film called "Circle".

Already saw it, and I was quite impressed with the ending.

Who hasn't seen "Fight Club" by now? And more importantly - what hasn't been already said about "Fight Club", like a million times?

If I was to suggest a movie worth watching and discussing on an atheist forum, it would be something more obscure and thematically appropriate, like "The Man from Earth", "Primer", or maybe even "Coherence". Or perhaps a documentary, like "The Act of Killing".

Here are some possibilities, and extra credit, name the film the list is from:

"Whispers in the Wind", "To Each His Own", "Put It Where It Doesn't Belong", "My Pipes Need Cleaning", "All Tit-Fucking, Volume 8", "I Need Your Cock", "Ass-Worshipping Rimjobbers", "My Cunt and Eight Shafts", "Cum Clean", "Cum-Gargling Naked Sluts", "Cum Buns 3", "Cumming in Socks", "Cum on Eileen", "Huge Black Cocks with Pearly White Cum", "Girls Who Crave Cock", "Girls Who Crave Cunt", "Men Alone 2: The K-Y Connection", "Pink Pussy Lips", oh yeah, and, uh, "All Holes Filled with Hard Cock".

What do you mean by thematically apropriate? As far as I'm concerned, as long as it's not a strictly Christian movie filled with faith-propaganda, I don't care how "thematically" apropriate it is. That said, Primer is a really neat movie. I like your suggestion.

Actually - a christian movie would be very thematically appropriate on this forum - and possibly also fun. Ripping on blatant religious propaganda is one of the simple joys of life. Although admittedly it doesn't usually seem worth it, when you have to sit through that sh*t first. There's a pretty good podcast out there, called "God Awful Movies", where a bunch of atheists make fun of religious movies.

I'd like to join this. But we need a good way of voting on a movie. I'm fine with Circle, I just looked it up on IMDB and it has an interesting premise. Same with Enemy.

I'd watch either one tonight, but how do we vote? If we get to vote, I chose Circle, but I'm down for either.

I don't think there's a good way to vote per se, but if anyone comes up with a good idea of how to do this, certainly. I thought we could just all unanimously agree with a suggestion and go from there. For example, person A makes a suggestion, person B agrees with it, and if there's no person Z saying No we just go with the option. Or, if someone wants to make a different suggestion and two people agree with it in turn, then we go with that.

Does anyone know about any websites where we might make a poll and vote our options? That would be ideal, I think, if we want to do it like that.

Or we could take turns at picking the movie, and new people always have to wait for the current lineup to make their picks before being the first to make them during the next cycle.

I mean if everyone wants to watch those kinds of movies, why not. Me, personally, I thought we wouldn't necessarily make this a case study about religion.

I think this would work.  You started the thread, so you go first, then the next person can make a suggestion, and so forth until all of us have done so.
