But... but... but....

...but I like loopholes. I like loopholes in order to spot weaknesses in a system to force the system to strengthen....

...so when it's my time to choose I'd deliberately try and choose a movie for everyone to watch that is so bad no one would want to do this anymore... and then I'd end it by saying "We should have done majority vote instead. If you let everyone choose it's possible for someone to choose a movie so painful that it destroys the universe."

Well, if someone chooses a terrible movie, they can be outvoted, or else no one will watch it.  The following discussion would be like "Dude, no one watched your movie cause it sucked"  "Yeah, I didn't want to waste 2 hours of my life on that movie with a 3/10 rating", "Ok, who's up next?"

Time or money?  If time, I can't help you, but if money, I can PM you a link to watch it for free.

Yes, I think 1 week is enough.  It looks interesting!  Hopefully more people join us. Smile

I'd like to join as well, how are we gonna set this up? I had an idea, send a pm to people to get a rough count on how many people are in. Who is going to be the group moderator?

I already sent PMs to everyone I thought was interested, given their replies here.

No one has wrote back so far, or replied in this thread for that matter, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I like what you're saying, but at the same time this can be really simple at the same time(since people seem to be AWOL). All you have to know is the name of the movie and the period of time you're supposed to watch it in. So very simply, we watch Enemy, and one week from now we regroup here and discuss the film. Then someone else gets to pick a movie, and if people agree to watch it, we do that and so on.

Why don't y'all just do this every week and keep a running thread on it.  One klinker movie won't be a big deal, especially if there is another coming right up.

Take turns picking the movie or poll some selections or something.

Just, and I repeat, don't ever let me pick the movie.

Ok, I never got a PM from you so I was not sure if I was accepted or if you liked my idea's or not. So, we have a week from today to watch "Enemy" right?
