Yeah cristians are like that they always counter arguments with something unlogical, as much I believe and know in the bible Its said that god only shows as a bright light which as i believe it may have been aliens and the ancient people just didn't had our technology and knowledge to understand it so they said its some powerful creature just like ancient greeks described lightning storms as that Zeus is angry and throws them.

Don't you think that's hypocritical?

Didn't think I would ever agree with you on anything. But it happens, once in a blue moon.

Well, it rather depends. Is there a way to distinguish between a god and an alien?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

But it's only slightly less inprobable. By a nanometer, maybe.

"By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible."
Quote:Universe (n.)
1580s, "the whole world, cosmos, the totality of existing things," from Old French univers (12c.), from Latin universum "all things, everybody, all people, the whole world," noun use of neuter of adjective universus "all together, all in one, whole, entire, relating to all," literally "turned into one," from unus "one" (see one) + versus, past participle of vertere "to turn" (see versus).
That word was translated from greek word Aion from which we get the word eon.

Aion
Definition
1. for ever, an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, eternity
2. the worlds, uerse
3. period of time, age
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." - Hebrews 11-3
The funny thing is, I've been telling you guys all along about using translations other than the KJV; but noooo the KJV doesn't fit your guys agenda because it doesn't use the word "slave" or "slavery" but uses the word servant, indicating indentured servitude NOT chattel slavery; now all of the sudden you want to take issue with how a word is translated when you were never concerned with that before?

If you had lived in North Carolina in 1829 on a plantation, how much of a difference do you think it would have made whether the word "servant" or "slave" was applied to you? Huge surprise this may be to you, Huggie, but it's the context, not the contemporary verbage which matters.
Mr. Hanky loves you!

You must define chattel slavery some other way than the rest of us, then, Hugs. Just because the English word "bondmen" is used in place of slavery doesn't change the fact that it immediately goes on to define what it means, and what it means is chattel slavery for anyone who's not a fellow Israelite (to whom the Indentured Servitude rules to which you've referred would apply).
44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. 45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. 46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

Similarly, I'm trying to figure out what the difference between your translation of the aion as "worlds" rather than "the universe" would be, since the definition you posted seems to indicate that the word refers both to great amounts of time as well as worlds... in other words, the universe. (Literally, I can't figure out why that's being quibbled over! Is there a semantic or theological point, there?)
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
